Corporate History
Management Consultants [Mining] was established in 1987 as a corporate and management advisory consultancy to provide information and recommendations on corporate and management matters to clients in the Mining and Associated industries.
Clients have included the major, middle range and small mining organisations.
Assignments for clients have included: -
- Negotiations undertaken on behalf of clients on a confidential basis for major corporate acquisitions, disposals, and joint ventures.
- Co-ordination of feasibility studies including taking project documentation to bankable standard, and negotiations with financial institutions for loans and /or project financing.
- Review of operational strategy and re-alignment. Installation of project and operational management systems and controls.
- Development of productivity improvement programmes to enhancement operational and project performance. These programmes are corporate specific and site “friendly” giving measurable improvements for major clients.
- Introduction of management systems and operational enhancement and project programmes on a low profile basis to obtain client ownership.
- Project management and development of a number of significant projects in Australia and overseas.
- Provide client support during negotiations with construction contractors.
